One thing is for certain, there is a lot confusion about membership and why it matters. The Bible describes the church as many things, a bride [Ephesians 5:22-33], the Body of Christ [1 Corinthians 12:27], a Spiritual Hose [1 Peter 2:5], etc.

In essence membership is about our identity, covenant community, nurture and mutual accountability.

Being a Jesus follower is not a Journey one can do alone, and this is why membership matters. So does membership matter? We think so, so let’s talk more about it…
